Overview:

 

What is a “friendraiser”?

 

A friendraiser is a small event where you personally introduce your friends, family, and loved ones to Envision:You and share why our organization is important to you. Through your efforts we hope your friends will choose to become supporters of Envision:You. While we encourage you to consider this a fundraiser, raising money for Envision:You is not the ultimate goal of your event. The objective is to educate your attendees about the transformational work of Envision:You.

How will this toolkit help me?

 

This toolkit is designed to help you conveniently plan your friendraiser. From creative ideas for your event to organizing and planning, this guide will aid you in having a successful friendraiser on behalf of Envision:You. 

 

How do I get started?

 

Friendraisers can be easily held in your own home with 5-10 guests.  Consider hosting a cocktail party or a small dinner party or you can have the gathering at a different venue. We can help you brainstorm a theme if that is appealing to you and will help attract people to your event. We want this to be fun for you and your guests.

 

How can Envision:You help me?

 

An Envision:You team member can be at your event to share a short presentation and provide you with support if desired. Please contact Brynne Popp, Development Manager, to start planning your friendraiser.

You can create your own personal fundraiser for Envision:You to share with your friends and followers on social media via Instagram or Facebook. This will enable you to collect donations from your friends and family on behalf of Envision:You using our social media toolkit.
